My deepest condolences to Kyle and Kirk. Your father was like a brother to me for many years and I miss his laugh and the mischievous sparkle in his eyes when he would tell a joke or funny story. He was always kind and soft spoken. I will always have the fondest memories of him.

i lived in Vasey back in the late 70's on the farm on the corner of old fort and vasey rd...I think David was there before us and i remember that buckskin stud he is riding in the photo..Barley Riker...everybody seems to be leaving the life i once knew..sad to hear..i taught kerry at Waubaushene school and gave piano lessons to one of the Gratrix families...my heartfelt sadness goes out to this lovely family...
My condolences to Kyle and Kirk and their families. Dave and I both attended Rosemount School and then we reconnected when our families were young. Doug and I have many fond memories of Dave. He was a quiet guy with a great sense of humour.

Our families have been friends for years. We all attended a one room school together. Our parents were friends. Dave and I travelled with Dave and Laurie and had many dinners and dances together. Our kids became friends. And then there were the horses. We shared our love of riding together. Dave was a great guy and I am sad to hear of his passing.
David was always very polite to me..he helped me trailer my horses when I bought them from his brother Tom. He visited my farm on several occasions trying to sweet talk me into selling my mare to him.
Rest in peace my friend..you will be missed
