Obituary of Marc Robert Desautels

Passed away peacefully at his home in Oro-Medonte after fighting a heroic battle with cancer, remaining stoic until the end on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at the age of 60. A true horseman; you could always find Marc in the barn. He dedicated his life to the equestrian sport, learning many skills along the way. He not only had a love for the sport, he also had a passion for the horses, and all animals. He knew how to work hard, but have some fun along the way. He could always bring a smile to everyone’s face with his quick wit and over the top jokes. He has a special place in the hearts of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. At Marc’s request he has been cremated and there will be no visitation or service. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Marc may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be made through the funeral home.
