This is such sad news, my sincere condolences to the family. I remember Ruth's caring and giving spirit more than anything. It seemed she was always helping someone out. More vividly, I remember her as our 4H sewing instructor. Around 1970, our group was called Stitch'n Chatter and it is where my love of sewing was born. There are portions of Ruth's instructions that I can recall so clearly - measuring the straight of grain to the selvedge edge! Rest in Peace Ruth. You will remain a shining light is many lives, especially your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You will be deeply, deeply missed, but not ever forgotten. Thank you for what you brought to my life.
