Obituary of Leonide Joseph "Leo" Bourque

Passed away at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Thursday December 27, 2018 at the age of 82, of R.R. #1, Coldwater.  Beloved husband of Carole.  Loved father of Douglas (Catherine) and Gordon.  Loving grandfather of Matthew (Mena), Stephanie (Shawn), and Ryan.  Leo was the eldest son of the late Georges Bourque and Lumina (nee Duguay).  Survived by his 4 sisters: Ginette Richard (Laurie), Josette LeBlanc (Adrice), Georgette Bourque, and Michella Morin (Jean-Eude) all of New Brunswick and by his 7 brothers: Edvin (Sharon), Ellis, Remi (Diane), Don (Linda), Larry (Dorothy) all of Ontario, Laurie of Quebec, and Jacques of New Brunswick.  Predeceased by his infant son and by his brothers Valerie and Reginald.  The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Saturday December 29^th from 11am – 1pm, then proceeding to St. John’s R.C. Church, Waubaushene for the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30pm.  Cremation to follow.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, and may be made through the funeral home.
