Dear Aunt Jay, Tom, Hugh and Brian,
We have been thinking all week about the whole Pearson clan and feeling very saddened that Uncle Bruce is no longer with us.
I picture him at the farm welcoming those arriving with his hearty laugh, ushering us into the house or back porch while also herding along some dogs (possibly with treats!) with a mischevious twinkle in his eye.
While we cannot be with you at the remembrance tomorrow, please know that we will be with you in sprit.
We send you all our love, extended too to Melanie, Lori, Catherine and all of the next generation too.
Always,
Laura, André, Christophe and Sandrine

We are here in Austria in the great outdoors reminiscing about Uncle Bruce’s passion for fresh air. There is a saying in Swedish “there is no such thing as bad weather, only inadequate outdoor clothing”. Uncle Bruce lived by this ethos, was up at the crack of dawn out in the elements come rain or shine. We will miss his energy and lust for life. These memories have left in me (David) a permanent positive imprint, developed and refined some of my passion for the outdoors which has married well with (in more ways than one) and helped prepare me for the lifestyle in Sweden.
With great memories of Uncle Bruce we send hugs to you all, David, Magda, Oskar and Elise

Dear Jay,
With sorrow, I have learned today of Bruce's passing.
I came to know you both as a guest on a number of occasions in your home during your retirement years in Fair-valley. Each visit was memorable not only for your exquisite cuisine but especially for the kindness of the gracious hospitality which you and Bruce extended to an ancient Arctic explorer.
Although my current (and one anticipates temporary) indisposition will prevent my joining you and your family in this special remembrance of Bruce's life, please be assured of my prayerful best wishes and heartfelt condolences.
With the greatest respect,
Yours Aye
Ken

Dear Jay and family.
Mary Ann and I extend our condolences which seem an inadequate response to the loss of our friend and colleague. My many years with the Blackburn companies had a multitude of important moments, challenges and opportunities. After a long career on the air it was Bruce who saw some potential and he consistently made it possible for me to advance in the corporation. He appointed me to significant roles and was supportive and a source of learning. He and Jay unselfishly gave us access to their Florida home so our entire family enjoyed a memorable Christmas there. Time we spent at the farm which he loved so much are held as precious memories. He was a mentor, a friend and an inspiration. May God in His wisdom give the family great strength and comfort.

Dear Joselyn (Jay) Our deepest condolences to you and your family in this difficult time. Linda Berry in SCC notified us of Bruce's passing. We still remember the good times on Burlington Circle with the parties, the yard sales, the Christmas lights, the tolapia fish kill on Middle Lake and the times we spent at Sand Piper Club.
