Pastor Patricia James posted a condolence

I only had the opportunity to meet Rev Karl a few times, when the Innisfil ministers would gather for lunch. Even over this short time, Karl left an impact on me because of the willingness and thoughtful ways that he received me into this cluster of ministers. He was a very gracious man, and his smile will be forever imprinted in my mind. Blessings and condolences to his family and friends. Patricia

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, --and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of --Wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark or even eagle flew --
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
Rest in peace Karl
For now you fly among the angles.

Dear Family... Cheryl and I extend our deepest condolences for the homegoing of Karl. My father, Frank Oessenich and Karl were cousins and grew up together in Altoona, PA. The cousin connection ran deep between those two guys over their lifetime. Our thoughts are with you. Kevin
