Obituary of Dwain Kevin Taylor
It is with great sadness that the family wish to announce the passing of Dwain. He lost his valiant fight with Pulmonary Fibrosis, C.O.P.D., and Lung Cancer at the Brantford General Hospital surrounded with the love of his family on Wednesday August 12, 2026 at the age of 65. Cherished and loved husband of Doreen. Loving father of Ben (Amber), Jessica, and Mary. Adoptive father of Sayra, Zacoya, and Evelyn & her daughter Amelia. Dear grandfather of Willow. Beloved son of Flora and the Late Ben (August 2005). Will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Rick (Sarah) and Glenn (Joanne) and by his sister Deanna (Al). Will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and the Vanni & Taylor clans. Along with his passion for golf, he also loved his fur babies.
Following cremation the family will honour and celebrate Dwain’s life at the R.C.L. Dunsdon Branch 461, 9 Tollgate Road, Brantford on Saturday September 19th from 4-10pm. The family will share memories at 7pm.
As an expression of sympathy the family has asked, because of Dwain’s health issues and unforeseen expenses over the past year, that donations in his memory be made to a trust account that will assist Doreen or to the Brant County SPCA. Either can be made at the celebration of life or through the Funeral Home.
